Battery Life Guidelines
With RFX, you can choose how often it sends temperature readings to your device — every 1.0°C/F, 1.5°C/F or 3.0°C/F change. The bigger the interval, the longer your battery lasts.
Here's what we recommend based on your cook time:
- Quick Cooks (Under 5 Hours) – 1.0 °C/F intervals
- Medium Cooks (5-15 Hours) – 1.5 °C/F intervals
- Long Cooks (15-65 Hours) – 3.0 °C/F intervals
We suggest following these guidelines to ensure your battery life lasts throughout your entire cook.
