Pro-Series Air Temp Probe for Oven & BBQ

For many reasons, there’s often a discrepancy between the setting on your oven and the actual air temperature. Temperature gauges on BBQs are also usually not very accurate and are not positioned to measure the temperature close to your food. Whether you’re baking a cake or smoking some pork, an accurate and consistent air temperature is key to getting perfect results every time.

The Pro-Series Air Temp Probe is designed for accurate monitoring of oven and BBQ air temperatures. The grate clip enables you to place the probe close to your food for a more accurate reading of the air temperature surrounding your dish. Clearly view the temperature on your thermometer screen and keep your oven or BBQ closed.

This robust penetration probe reads temperatures between -50 °C and 300 °C. The 1.2-metre stainless steel lead can also withstand heat up to 370 °C — perfect for high-temperature grilling.

The Pro-Series probe range is compatible with the DOT, BlueDOT, ChefAlarm, Smoke and Signals thermometers. Check out the full range to switch up your probes for different dishes and achieve better results.

Designed for professional chefs, the Pro-Series Probes feature fast readings, high accuracy, wide temperature ranges and robust designs that will survive tough cooking environments.

Good

I bought this as an addition to the ChefAlarm & it has helped with proofing & baking gluten free bread, which has been a long slog to get right! Good for manual dial ovens to get the exact temperature.

Great addition

Really useful to have the ambient temperature. Wish they all came with this

Useful gadget

I wanted an accurate way to measure oven temp on a vintage oven with unreliable old thermostat. Just what I needed. Easy to install.

Very happy

Very pleased as wanted a way to monitor the temperature at grill height in my WSM. The clip is handy and the probe is robust.

BBQ Probe

Very useful probe for monitoring the grill temperature on the bbq. More accurate at grill level than the fitted thermometer. Recommended.

Grill Temperature Probe

Ordered the probe to use with my Dot to ensure that my low and slow cooks are accurate when using the kamado. Good length of cable and comes with a sturdy grill clip so you don't have to worry about it moving.

Well packaged and quick delivery. Great service.

Really helpful

to be able to read the temperature close to the food.

Useful App

The addition of the app to record cooking temperatures and times is a valuable feature.

Stick it in and sit back

Probing review

Does the probe work? Yes it does. Does the clip that holds it to the grill grate? Not so good well not on my smoker which is a little annoying considering the price of the item. I've had to find a fix to get it to stay in the clip so as I say annoying
