Billows BBQ Temperature Control Fan

Your bundle includes the Billows BBQ fan, designed to automatically control airflow and maintain a steady temperature during longer BBQ cooks.

Simply connect the provided RFX Air Probe to your RFX Gateway to measure the temperature inside your BBQ. Set your desired pit temperature in the ETI Cloud app and Billows will automatically increase or reduce airflow to help maintain it.

Particularly useful for low and slow cooking, Billows reduces the need for manual temperature adjustments, helping you maintain consistent cooking conditions for brisket, ribs and pulled pork.

RFX MEAT sends readings to your RFX GATEWAY using radio frequency waves, which maintain a strong connection through thick obstacles like ovens and BBQs. This means no interrupted readings during your cook.

GATEWAY to Your Device

Your RFX GATEWAY sends readings to your device using WiFi, which means you can monitor your cooks from anywhere with an internet connection. View the progress of your cook and get alerts through the ETI app.

Offline Mode

Don't have WiFi available? No problem. You can use a direct gateway-to-smartphone Bluetooth connection instead. This is perfect for cooking in remote locations like beaches or campsites.

How does the Billows BBQ fan control my BBQ temperature?

Billows automatically adjusts the airflow to help maintain your chosen BBQ temperature. Simply connect the Air Probe and Billows fan to your RFX Gateway, set your desired pit temperature in the ETI Cloud app and Billows will adjust the airflow as needed. It's particularly useful for low and slow BBQ cooking, including brisket, ribs and pulled pork.

Will the Billows BBQ fan fit my BBQ?

Billows is designed to fit most steel, ceramic and charcoal BBQs. However, some BBQs require an additional mounting plate or kit. If your vent hole is larger than 60 mm H x 50 mm W x 0.5 mm D, you'll need a mounting kit. We offer Billows mounting plates and accessories for different BBQ sizes and vent openings. We recommend checking your vent measurements before ordering.

Do I need a Billows Damper, and is it included in the kit?

The Billows Damper is sold separately. It's an optional accessory that allows you to make finer adjustments to the airflow entering your BBQ. With 16 adjustment settings, it gives you additional control over your cooking temperature, particularly during longer, low and slow cooks.
