Was given my first one by our son and when it finally failed I replaced it with two! One for here and one for our holiday home. It's good to know food is safely cooked (or reheated) if you are in a hurry and also when dishes are ready without overcooking or drying out. Highly recommend the pens and the order/delivery service. I broke my old Thermapen....couldn't live without another one

I bought my first Thermapen after attending the Nick Nairn Cook School. I used it daily and loved it from day 1 although I did have to learn by trial and error what temperatures I needed to achieve for various foods. After 15 years I dropped it yet again but this time it didn't make it but i couldn't imagine cooking without it. Overdone fish underdone steaks food not defrosted in the middle no I had to buy one. Not cheap and I did have to think twice....but remembered it was not cheap the first time I bought it and the value I had had from it for my 15 years! I also benefitted from a special offer so my order was straight in. I was delighted when it arrived and I would say it is actually better than my original one! So pleased.
