Thermapen thermometers are designed and made with quality in mind. Handmade in Britain, each Thermapen undergoes 13 quality checks before sale. They’re calibrated in a UK laboratory to national standards and are provided with a certificate to show this. In addition, their robust designs are backed up with lengthy guarantees — because they’re designed to last for years to come.

No, Thermapens are not designed to be left in the oven. Make sure not to leave your Thermapen on hot surfaces, or it could melt. Take care to not let the case get too hot when measuring food over a grill or BBQ.

The Thermapen Classic is splashproof so can handle splashes and spills. The Thermapen One is waterproof which means it can be submerged in water for a thorough cleaning. Do not put your Thermapen in the dishwasher as neither model is dishwasher safe.
